nThe marina sits on Douglas Lake set against the backdrop of the lush, green Smoky Mountain foothills.  Douglas Lake is rated as one of the top five Crappie fishing lakes in the nation, and is also rated in the top 10 for Large Mouth Bass.   Spring and fall are the more preferred times to fish in Douglas Lake. The summer is our peak season for our boaters, campers, and vacationers who want to rent cabins and boats at our Resort. The Tennessee climate and Douglas Lake’s fishermen provides us a longer season at our resort and gives us a small window of opportunity to build and prepare for the growth for the next season.
